Pleasure Dance
With a multidisciplinary approach, the project explores the connections between sex work and the city of Venice. Aiming to promote self-expression and empowerment as the center of healthy sexuality, the artist invites to embrace the joyful and creative sides of pleasure, too often repressed.
Act 1
Pleasure Dance started with the production of a series of Murano-glass artworks in the shape of sex toys. The artist worked in the furnace with the maestri, and developed 4 prototypes.
