Indefinito

Venice/New York

Marcantonio’s Indefinito series consists of experimental Murano glass sculptures, loosely defined as “vessels”. The project aims to convert glass pieces left over from previous firings into abstract works hanging from the ceiling with metal chains. The use of leftovers cotissi is intended to celebrate color, rawness and imperfection, and has evolved as part of a broader study on waste and reuse. The works were exhibited in Venice and New York, where the show was accompanied by a video featuring Japanese dancer and artist Megumi Eda.
