Autonoma BUILD-UP brought students from the Pilchuck Glass School in Washington, USA, to the island of Murano for a three-week program. They created a site-specific collective installation for the garden at Venice’s Museo del Vetro glass museum using as many recycled or found glass pieces as possible. Aiming to communicate the need for greater sustainability in glass production, the piece was exhibited at Venice Glass Week and received a special mention in the first edition of the Bonham Prize.
