Architecture in Murano consists of a three-month curricular course, during which students are called
to develop personal interpretations of Fornace Pitau’s renovation project.
The project involves professors and third-year students from the faculty of Architecture.
As a conclusion of the semester, the students have delivered 21 designs that depict possible scenarios for the furnace and Murano, suggesting both practical and conceptual approaches to what the site could become in the future. Concepts dealt with a number of topics, including climate change, memory, our relationship with nature and depopulation.
